Alternate Priority List

 

For the 2018 season, the RIGA has instituted an alternate list for the Amateur Championship.  Players at each of the three pre-qualifying sites with the next best score after the cutline will be randomly selected and ranked by numbers as alternates.  The list will be updated as players are added to the field. 

There are two ways in which a player can be added to the field: (1) To bring the field to 132 players or (2) To fill a spot of a withdrawn player.  An alternate may be on site on the first day of the championship in the event of a no-show or last minute withdrawal.  In the event of multiple alternates on site, the highest ranked alternate present will be given priority.
