Marriott Bonvoy Golf Masters | Golfing Days Terms and conditions
Competition Rules
1. Our Masters destinations are the 6 Marriott Resorts around the UK.
2. At each venue the top 3 pairs will qualify for the Final at The Forest of Arden on the 15th/16th Sept 2024.
3. The Final is a 1 round final with an overnight stay DBB courtesy of Golfing Days.
4. All tournaments will be played under The R&A Rules of Golf and Local Rules of the host club.
5. The Competition is open to all amateur golfers only.
6. The competition format will be Pairs Better ball medal with 85% handicap allowance. All players will play from the white tees unless told otherwise on the day of each event.
7. Handicap – Amateurs – maximum playing handicap allowance is 20. If your handicap is over this you can still enter.
8. Further information will be displayed at registration at each event.
Eligibility
1. Any Amateur with an active WHS CDH number and a current member of a golf club. Players with a playing handicap of greater than 20 must play off 20 for the purposes of these events. Handicap certificates or CDH numbers must be produced at registration if requested. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of any prizes won.
Entry Procedure and Start Sheet

4. A start sheet will be emailed to all entrants 48-72 hours before each event and is subject to change due to any late entries or withdrawals.
Entry Fees
1. Entry fees vary from resort to resort. All information can be found on the website
2. A £100 deposit per pair will need to be paid when entering online through our new system.
3. The above deposit is strictly non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or a medical note is produced.
4. The balance of your entry fees will need to be paid 8 weeks before the event. We will send out a payment request for this via our system.
5. Payment on the day will not be accepted unless otherwise notified.
6. Entries must be made by the closing date. Late entries will be accepted via email to info@golfingdays.co.uk. 7. Once maximum numbers have been reached, further entries will be taken and placed on a reserve list.
8. On entry CDH numbers and email addresses must be registered on the online entry system
Minimum Field Size
1. Each Tournament will have a maximum field of 40 pairs and at least a minimum of 20 pairs. If this number is not met 4 days prior to the event, the tournament may be cancelled.
2. In the event of withdrawals, places will be allocated from the reserve list on a first come first served basis.
In The Event Of a Tie
1. In the event of a tie in the qualifiers, determination will be made on count-back using the best 2nd day score and if still not decided, then scores on the back 9,6,3 and last hole and finally sudden death from the first hole. 2. In the event of a tie in the final a sudden death play off will be held using the 18th hole at The Forest of Arden.
Withdrawals and Absence
1. Prior to the closing date, withdrawals should be made by contacting 0330 174 4431 or at info@golfingdays.co.uk
2. Please refer to point number 2 & 3 under entry fees regarding your deposit paid.
3. Conduct & Dress Code: All players and caddies/ friends are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner both on and off the course. Golfers must adhere to the clubs current dress code. Failure to do so will result in a ban or refusal of future entry to competitions.
Prize Fund
1. In the qualifying events the top 3 pairs from each resort will qualify for the final.
2. In the Grand Final the winners will win a trip for 2 to “The Masters” in April 2025.
3. Prizes will also be awarded to 2nd – 4th place in the Grand Final
4. Any sponsored prizes in the form of goods and not vouchers will be non-returnable.
5. In the qualifiers we will be running a sweep each day, these will be for the 2 days individually.
Handicaps
1. For our Grand Finalists your handicap will not be permitted to be more than what you qualified with,
however if your handicap comes down before the final then we will use that handicap at the time. The above conditions may be subject to change at any time.
