The Junior Links Championship

The Junior Links Championship is Carnoustie Golf Links’ most prestigious tournament for junior season ticket holders. The tournament is open to all junior season ticket holders with a handicap index of 36.4 or less who are under-18 on 1st January 2024. The championship comprises of a 18-hole Stroke Play qualifying competition, followed by a Match Play knockout competition contested by the leading eight scratch qualifying scores. The qualifying round will also count toward the 2024 Craws Order of Merit as event number 2. This year, the qualifying round will be held on Saturday 27th April and will be played on The Carnoustie Burnside Course. The Match Play competition will also be played over The Carnoustie Burnside Course and the dates of play are as follows:

Quarter Finals - Completed by 17th May - Players will arrange their own matches

Semi Finals - Completed by 7th June - Players will arrange their own matches
Final - Saturday 8th June - 1.45pm

Entry* for The 2024 Junior Links Championship will open on 20th March 2024 and will close on 20th April 2024. Tee times for the qualifying round will run from 1.00pm-1.52pm. Entries can be made by clicking the registration tab and will require your Scottish Golf CDH number. *A total of 24 places are available in the starting field. If the entry exceeds 24 players, the field will be decided via a handicap ballot.
