QUALIFIER DATE: Monday, June 10
TEE TIME: You should arrive at the tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.
BECAUSE OF CONSTRUCTION IN THE LANSING AREA, BE SURE TO CONFIRM YOUR ROUTE IN ADVANCE AND BUILD EXTRA TIME INTO YOUR COMMUTE.

PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available, but you must call the pro shop in advance and identify yourself as a US Junior Amateur Qualifier Contestant. The unaccompanied round fee is $200. The number is (517) 318-5219. Rates and availability are at the discretion of the host facility. Entry in the qualifier DOES NOT entitle a player to a practice round at their convenience.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS, the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Bottled water will be provided on the starting holes. Players may purchase food and beverages from the halfway house as well.
PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Players must adhere to any distance limit on the practice range; failure to do so may result in disqualification from the competition.
CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Parents/step-parents/guardians are not allowed to serve as caddies. Pull carts may be used if the host club allows them. Spectator carts are not allowed in USGA Qualifiers.
PLAYOFF: In the event of a tie of a tie for the final qualifying spot(s) or alternate(s), a hole-by-hole playoff will begin immediately after all scores are posted. It is the player’s responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee.
WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament. If you must withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM at tournaments@gam.org. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
