LEINSTER UNDER-16 BOYS’ AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

 

Please note that the Terms of Competition below must be read in conjunction with the General Regulations for Golf Ireland Competitions available online and in print in the GOLF IRELAND HANDBOOK.

 

a) Age Group: Boys (Under 16) as set out in Section A of the General Regulations

b) Gender: Male

c) Handicap : The maximum  Handicap Index is 14.0 or below

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

e) Size of Field: 120

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries. At the Committee’s discretion, the field may include up to two members of Leinster High Performance Panels Leinster Coaching Panels whose Handicap Index is within 1.0 of the cut-off and who have entered the Championship.

g) Form of Play: Stroke Play

h) No. of Rounds: One

i) Cut: N/A

j) Ties: Three-hole playoff in the event of a tie for the Championship, In accordance with Section A, Regulation 10 of the General Regulations.
