IRISH UNDER-16 BOYS’ AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

 

a) Age Group: Under-16 Boys as set out in Section A of the General Regulations

b) Gender: Male

c) Handicap : Maximum Handicap Index of 14.0. A player with a Handicap Index of 14.1 or higher at close of entries is not eligible to compete.

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

e) Size of Field: 90

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries

g) Form of Play: Stroke Play

h) No. of Rounds: Three – one on each of the three days of the Championship

i) Cut: Top 40 plus ties after two rounds

 

IRISH UNDER-14 BOYS’ AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

 

a) Age Group: Under 14 Boys as set out in Section A of the General Regulations

b) Gender: Male

c) Handicap : Maximum Handicap Index of 18.0. A player with a Handicap Index of 18.1 or higher at close of entries is not eligible to compete.

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

e) Size of Field: 54

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries

g) Form of Play: Stroke Play

h) No. of Rounds: Three – one on each of the three days of the Championship

i) Cut: Top 24 plus ties after two rounds
