LEINSTER WOMEN’S AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

 

Please note that the Terms of Competition below must be read in conjunction with the General Regulations for Golf Ireland Competitions available online and in print in the GOLF IRELAND HANDBOOK.

 

a) Age Group: 18 years of age or over on 1 January in the year of the event

b) Gender: Female

c) Handicap : Competitors must have a Handicap Index not exceeding 12.0. An entrant whose Index has increased at the time of publishing the draw (ie 7 days’ before the championship) may be offered a place in the Duggan Cup should a place become available.

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

e) Size of Field: 72

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entry

g) Form of Play: Stroke Play

h) No. of Rounds: One

i) Cut: N/A

i) Ties  : Ties will be resolved in accordance with Section A, Regulation 10 of the General Regulations 

LEINSTER WOMEN’S DUGGAN CUP

a) Age Group: 18 years of age or over on 1 January in the year of the event

b) Gender: Female

c) Handicap : Competitors must have a Handicap Index between 12.1 – 24.0. A player whose Handicap Index falls below 12.1 at the time of publishing the draw (ie 7 days’ before the championship) may be offered a place in the Leinster Championship where possible.

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

e) Size of Field: 32

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entry

g) Form of Play: Net Stableford

h) No. of Rounds: One

i) Cut: N/A

i) Ties  : Ties will be resolved accordance with Section A, Regulation 10 of the General Regulations.
