Please note that the Terms of Competition below must be read in conjunction with the General Regulations for Golf Ireland Competitions available online and in print in the GOLF IRELAND HANDBOOK.

 

a) Age Group: Boys (Under 18) as set out in Section A of the General Regulations

b) Gender: Male

c) Handicap: Max Handicap Index at close of entries 7.0

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

Regulation 2.2c Handicap Eligibility in Championships applies

e) Size of Field: 99

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries + in addition six Ulster (home club) places will be allocated to qualifying players the qualification tournament held in advance of the Championship.

g) Form of Play: Strokeplay

h) No.of Rounds: Three

i) Cut: 36 plus ties after two rounds

 

 

ULSTER GIRLS' AMATEUR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

a) Age Group: Girls (Under 18) as set out in Section A of the General Regulations

b) Gender: Female

c) Handicap: Max Handicap Index of 20.4, at close of entries

d) Eligibility: See Section A of the General Regulations

Regulation 2.2c Handicap Eligibility in Championships applies

e) Size of Field: 45

f) Ballot: Lowest Handicap Index at the close of entries + in addition up to six Ulster (home club) players who entered but do not qualify may be invited to play by the Championship Committee, providing they are within 1.0 strokes of the handicap cut at the close of entry.

g) Form of Play: Strokeplay

h) No. of Rounds: Three

i) Cut: 18 plus ties after two rounds
