Welcome to the 2024 Version

of the Raccoon Creek Weekday Men’s Club

To our past membership and to our new members, welcome to the 2024 season.

This past offseason has been rather tumultuous for your Board members causing some delay in getting the 2024 season up and running.

 

The delays were mostly due to changes in the way the Club interacts with the Golf course financially. This will be explained to you in a follow up message that specifies how you sign up for tournaments and new deadlines that will change by type of tournament, so watch closely for it. It will be sent out as an email and posted on the website.

 

The sign up sheets for membership have also been delayed because of the financial changes.

 

We are doing some new things this year that we hope you will like. They include:

1 – Allowing you to select the tee boxes you want to play from all year. If you start out with one selection of tee boxes and during the year you find you don’t like it, you will have one and only one chance to change them. There will be 5 choices and they are Blue tees, a Blue and White combo, a White tee only, a White and Red combo, and a Red only.

 

2 – We usually schedule 4 scrambles and some players did not like playing that many. This year we will have only 2 scrambles with the other two being replaced by four man team events of different formats.

 

3 – We are also scheduling a 2 day Creek Club Cup that will be open to the top 40 players of the year based upon points earned. Points are based upon participation and places for the top three finishers in each tournament. This will be explained in a future message to you as well.
