Pace of Play Policy

Gentlemen,

No one like to play a 5 hour round of golf. Therefore, the Board of Directors has established this Pace of Play Policy.

1 - You must finish tournament rounds in 4 hours and 30 minutes, and your elapsed time is no more than 5 minutes longer than that of the group in front of you, or all members of your group will receive a two stroke penalty for the round.

- The entire foursome is responsible to make sure all four members maintain the required pace of play.

During tee time events, we know your start time and the starter keeps track of turn time and finish time. Make sure you stop at the starter to record your turn time and then again when you finish. Do not spend a lot of time checking you scores on hole 18. Wait until after your finish time is set with the starter, then pull off to the side to check scores and finalize your entry in GHIN.

Shotgun starts are a little different because you need to check in with the starter 3 times. As an example, you start on hole 7 and get to the starter after hole 9, check in with him. You then play the back nine and check in with the starter again before you start hole 1. You then proceed to complete your round at hole 6. You must drive directly to the starter and record your finish time. Then check your final scores and record them in GHIN.
