Registration Information
This is an invitation by exemption only event. If you register without being invited you will be placed on a pending registration list until you gain exemption or if there are open spots 2 weeks out of the tournament start date, you MAY receive exemption. Anyone wishing to gain exemption outside of the invitation list will be required to send golf resume with 36 hole stroke play tournament scores within the last 12 months to Junior Golf Director Talton Cherry at lcherry@pgahq.com for consideration.

Tournament Information
Denny McCarthy: All proceeds from this tournament go back into our Denny McCarthy Scholarship. Denny McCarthy, Takoma Park native, former UVA Golf Team member, member of the 2015 walker cup team, now PGA TOUR member, has consistently shown success throughout his junior, amateur, and now professional career. Denny has partnered with the MAPGA Foundation to award TWO (2) one-time scholarships to deserving junior golfers. Each scholarship will be worth $2,500 each. His love for the game shows and wants to provide that opportunity to junior golfers desired to further their education and elevate their game. Apply Here
Format: Individual Stroke Play, 36 holes for Championship and Patriot Divisions
Tees:
Boys - Navy MAPGA Tees at Approximately 6600 yards.
Girls - White MAPGA Tees at Approximately 5800 yards.
Rankings: Any division in which 5 or more competitors complete at least a 36 hole event are JGS ranked.
AJGA Boys & Girls Pre-Approved:
Girls - Champion - 2 Performance Stars, Top 3 - 1 Performance Star
Boys - Champion - 2 Performance Stars, Top 5 - 1 Performance Star
Driving Range: The range will be available for all players prior to play
Practice Rounds: No practice rounds will be available. Please do not call the pro shop about practice rounds.
Spectators: Spectators will be permitted to walk the golf course. Spectator carts will not be available for purchase in the pro shop unless you can present an ADA/Handicap Sticker or show other medical needs. Thank you for your understanding.
Withdrawal Policy: In order to receive a full refund, players must withdraw before 12 noon, 7 days prior to the event and prior to tee times being posted. Withdrawing after this time will result in a loss of entry fee unless due to illness, injury or family emergency.
