U12 & U10 CHAMPIONSHIPS

The main competition will be for the U12 Stephen Gallacher Foundation Championship. The event will be over 36 holes, 12 holes on each day.    Within the main event there will also be a supplementary                              U10 Stephen Gallacher Foundation Championship.  

There will be Gold, Silver and Bronze medals on the day and the following vouchers:

U 12                                                              U 10

                               1. £100                                                         1.  £50

                               4. £45

                               5. £35

 

In the event of a tie for first place there will be a play off on the 1st hole, until there is a winner. If a tie, for a medal, it will be decided on a count back basis. All vouchers will be shared.

On the last day, only, Lowest round from player outwith the main prizes, above, for:

Under 12 £15 Voucher

Under 11 £15 Voucher

Under 10 £15 Voucher

Under 9 £15 Voucher

ALL PRIZE WINNERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO STAY BEHIND FOR THE PRIZE GIVING.

 

Continued:

1. All players must register at the Tournament Office, beside the first tee, at least 20 minutes before their tee time.
2. All players must be on the tee 10 minutes before their allocated tee time.
3. This is a championship, so failure to make your tee time will result in disqualification.
4. There is a maximum score rule for the day: no person can score more than a 10 at any one hole. If you have taking 10 shots please pick the ball up and move to the next tee.
5. Caddies are allowed for Under 10 players only. They MUST NOT COACH but can support their child and carry the bag on the golf course. CADDIES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE GREENS, If it is deemed by the SGF committee that this has been breached the caddie will receive one warning and then if persists will be asked to leave the course. If you require clarification on what is deemed as coaching or support please speak with Scott Knowles on the day or before
6. Lasers/measuring devices can be used on the day
7. There will be scorers between the 6th green and 7th tee, all players/caddie are required to give their score on each of the first 6 holes to the scorer
8. The local rules on the club scorecard will be incorporated in the event.
