Tournament Rules
- Model Rule E-3 Preferred Lies are in effect. When a player’s ball lies in any part of the general area, the player may take relief once by lift, clean, and replacing the ball.
- (Amateurs Only) Model Rule E-5 – If a ball is determined lost or out of bounds, under penalty of two strokes, players must determine the spot where the ball went out of bounds or is lost, find the nearest fairway edge, and drop a ball no closer to the hole.
- Professionals must use stroke and distance penalty under the rules of golf.
- Caddies:
- Each team is required to take at least one (1) forecaddie each round.
- Please arrive to the first tee 20 minutes prior to your tee time to allow for adequate time to pay caddie fees.
- Individual stroke play--team competition.
- Scoring will be one (1) best gross ball and one (1) best net ball on each hole. The same ball can be used for both gross and net. (There are separate competitions for gross and net divisions.)
- Net double bogey max for amateurs.
- Tee Assignments:
- Professionals (49 & under) play blue tees
- Senior Professionals (50-64 y/o) play gold tees
- Super Senior Professionals (65 & over) play white tees
- Amateurs (59 & under) play gold tees
- Senior Amateurs (60-74 y/o) play white tees
- Super Senior Amateurs (70 & over) play green tees (optional red tees)
- Women play red tees
- Please Note: Senior professionals (50-64 y/o) must play the blue tees if they want to compete in regular professional purse.
- Please Note: Super Senior professionals (65 & over) must play gold tees if they want to compete in senior professional purse.
- The player’s lowest index (handicap) of the year will be used for tournament play.
- Each scorecard has been dotted using 80% of each player’s handicap.
- Teams with a total handicap of more than 60 shall have their handicap reduced equally until a total of 60 is reached.
- USGA Rules govern all play except where local rules apply.
- The 14-club rule is in effect.
- Electronic yardage devices (without slope) are allowed.
- During tournament play only tournament contestants will be allowed to ride in the carts.
- The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps and individual and/or team scores before, during or after completion of a round, or at any time after the tournament.
- Tie-breaking by USGA (last 9, 6, 3, 1, holes) at Pebble Beach.
- In the event of a tie, player’s pool money will be split.
- All decisions by the tournament committee are final.
