IT'S TIME TO REGISTER!
Registration is now open to join the CommonGround Women’s Golf Club (CGWGC) 2024 season.
PLAY DAYS – Our league plays on Tuesday mornings. We are a competitive league offering a longer than average season from April 23 to October 29, 2024. Each week there is a contest with payouts, and your score is automatically posted to GHIN. Signups for playdays are through GolfGenius.
CGWGC 2024 Tee Boxes - This year, all CGWGC members will play from the Women’s Club Tees; a combination tee set of ~5,100 yards. This promises to make our play really fun – the course is quite challenging, and these tees are similar in length to other women's leagues' courses. Our scorecard will use red tee boxes for 13 of the 18 holes. On holes 3 and 18 (long par 5’s) and holes 5, 13, and 16 (long par 4’s) we will play from the new purple tee boxes. We’re excited to share more information at the Meet & Greet kick-off meeting!
USGA HANDICAP – Membership in the 2024 CGWGC requires a Handicap Index, which is tracked through the USGA Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) digital system, using your personal GHIN ID. Most of you already have this, but if not, getting set up is easy. If you do not already have a GHIN ID, our registration process will create one for you. Once your payment is processed, you will receive (a) an email with your personal GHIN ID from Susan Van Horne, CGWGC Handicap Chair, and (b) an invitation from GHIN to create your profile. Next, just go to www.ghin.com to finalize your profile immediately so that you can begin accumulating scores. You need a minimum of (6) 9-hole rounds or (3) 18-hole rounds for a Handicap Index. Once you have this, you are eligible for CGWGC Game Day payouts
REGISTRATION
- Click on the blue box that says “Register Now for Women’s Club"
- Click “Submit Registration for Approval” and fill in the registration form.
- Once your registration is submitted you will be on a pending list. After your registration payment is processed (see Registration Fee Payment, below), your registration will be complete, and you’ll receive an email confirming your 2024 membership.
- Note: if you do not have a Golf Genius account and password, you will be prompted to create one during the registration process. Typically it is your email with a personally created password.
REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT - $125 registration fee includes the following:
- GHIN fee
- Payouts for weekly game
- Meet & Greet, our kick-off meeting
- Club Championship Awards
- Year-end luncheon, awards, and recognitions
There are 3 ways to pay your registration fees and you will need to complete the registration form and pay the registration fee.
- Scan the QR code and it will take you to the Zelle account. In the Zelle message area, please type/include your first and last name.
- Send $125 through Zelle to 303-552-1814 CGWGC
- Write a check payable to “CGWGC”. Mail it to: Michele Huston 8972 E 5th Place, Denver, CO 80230
