Three Clubs and a putter is a golf format that requires the players to pick just three clubs to use during their round. All players are allowed their putters in addition to the three other clubs they choose. The choices of clubs can't be changed during the round once you've chose your clubs.

Step Aside Scramble is a normal scramble, with a twist. 

 

We pair ladies up low to high handicap and put out foursomes. They all hit then select the best drive, The player who hit steps aside and all others hit from the selected ball. This is repeated until reaching the green where all 4 player putt. The ball is placed within 6 inches of the selected ball and must remain in the same condition of grass. (If in the rough or fairway)

Individual Play, Par point scoring: 1 point for a double bogey, 2 points for a bogey, 3 points for a par, 4 points for birdie and 5 for eagle.

Par - 3 points

Birdie (one under par) - 4 points 

Eagle (two under par)  - 5 points

Individual Net Play. Each player starts the tournament with a flag and an adjusted course handicap. Keep track of your score during the round. Plant your flag when you reach the course par of 70 plus your adjusted course handicap. Then keep on playing out the round with your group! 

 

If players make it past hole 18, a playoff will be held afterwards to determine a winner.

Our teams will be selected for us. A scramble means that all team members tee off on each hole and then decide which tee shot they like the best and mark the spot with a tee or ball marker. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot.

Step Aside Scramble is a normal scramble, with a twist. Each player will play from the same spot (i.e. tee off together). The team will then select one of the shots and all will play again from that spot. In a step aside scramble, however, the player that hit the shot that was then taken by the group will "step aside" and will not play from the next shot.

 

Example: All will tee off on hole #1. If player A's ball is chosen as the best shot, player A will not play the second shot on that hole. Players B,C, & D will play the second shot. The team will then select the best shot. If the best shot is player B, player B will then sit out the next shot and players A, C, & D will play the third shot. Continue this until the ball is holed.
