Women's Victory Shield Terms of Competition

 

Preliminary Rounds Draw

 

Matches are to be played at a neutral venue and there is joint responsibility to make initial contact and agree the venue.

 

The Semi-finals and Final will take place at Royal St. David's Golf Club on 28th July 2024

Please be reminded of the Terms of Competition that can be found on the homepage of the event portal. 

 

Please note that due to entry numbers the number of clubs to reach the Open Draw Quarter-Finals from each Group will be proportional to the number of clubs entered from that region

 

Group A: 1 Team                        Group B: 3 Teams                       Group C: 4 Teams

 

Agreeing Matches: There is joint responsibility in any preliminary round to make contact to arrange the date of the next match. If no mutual agreement is reached regarding the date or venue of any match, the Championship Manager must be informed and the match shall be played at 2.30pm on the last qualifying date. If matches are not played by the specified dates, both teams will be scratched, subject to the right of the Chairman of the Championship Committee to grant a walkover to one of them.

 

Disputes: All disputes must be referred to the Championship Manager, Wales Golf who will resolve them by use of the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and the conditions of entry published in relation to this Championship. If it is not possible to resolve a dispute by the above method, the Championship Manager will place the issue before the Championship and Rules Committee and its decision shall be final.

 

Results: The winners of each match are to report the result immediately by using the 'Submit a Result' page on this portal.
