Three Person Teams, Two Best Ball Shamble

 

The Turkey Shoot is a three person team event and will be played in sixsomes. 

 

Like in a Scramble, each player plays from the teeing area on every hole and the optimal tee shot is selected.  From that spot, all 3 players play their own ball until holed with each individual score being recorded on the scorecard.  The team score will be the sum of the two lowest individual scores per hole. 

 

Should a team only have two players, they will still get three shots off the tee.  Player 1 will hit two tee shots on the first hole, player 2 will hit two tee shots on the second hole and continue rotating throughout the round.   Of the three tee shots, the optimal shot will be selected.  From that spot, each player will play their own ball with both balls being scored.
