6-6-6 Format

Registration Opens: Tuesday, June 04, 2024 at 09:00 AM

Registration Closes: Tuesday, July 02, 2024 at 06:00 PM

 

FORMAT: Holes 1-6: Best Ball     Holes 7-12: Modified Alternate     Holes 13-18: Scramble 

 

   *GHIN Handicap NOT required 

 

FLIGHTS: Flights determined by 1st 6-hole (Best Ball) score and number of entries.   

 

TEES: Adults – BLUE TEES   Seniors (55+) & Juniors -16U - WHITE TEES      Ladies & Juniors-12U – RED TEES  

 

ENTRY FEE:  GreatLIFE Member - $50, Non-GreatLIFE Member - $80

 

PAYOUTS: Payouts are determined by flights & number of entries. All payouts will be in the form of pro-shop credit! All credit expires October 31, 2024. 

 

SKINS: $20 optional Gross Skins Game! All skins will be paid out to the team in the form of cash. 

 

BEST BALL: Both players play their own ball each hole. The best score between the two counts as the team score.  

 

MODIFIED ALTERNATE: Both team members will tee off on each hole. Team members will pick the best shot - and alternate strokes until the ball is holed. Example, if you choose Player A’s drive, Player B will hit the second shot.

Each player’s drive MUST be used TWICE in this format! 

 

SCRAMBLE:  Both players will hit tee shots on each hole. Teams will pick the ball they would like to play. Both players will then play from the selected ball. This continues until the ball is holed.

MULLIGANS: $20 Team Mulligans. One mulligan per person, per format! If unused, does NOT carry over to other formats.   

 

SCORECARDS: Scoring will be done through Golf Genius.  

 

PACE OF PLAY: Appropriate pace of play is 4 hours and 10 minutes for 18-holes. Please stay on pace and keep up with the group in front of you.
