The GAM Senior Match Play heads to Polo Fields G&CC for 2024.  Entry fee includes use of the driving range before play, use of a cart, and lunch on the first day of the competition. After one round of stroke-play qualifying, the field will be sized down to the low 32 Seniors and low 16 Super Seniors left to battle it out in match play.

Who: Entries are open to all GAM members who: (1) have an up-to-date WHS Handicap Index at the time of entry not exceeding 7.4, and (2) will have reached their 55th birthday before May 30, 2023. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the Championship.

When: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 - Friday, May 31, 2024

Format: 18-Holes of Stroke Play Qualifying, Low 32 Seniors and Low 16 Super Seniors advance to match play

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

May 28 – 18 holes, stroke play; the low 32 Senior Players qualify for Match Play & Low 16 Super Senior Players qualify for Super Senior Match Play Division 

Match Play: General numerical USGA draw shall be used. The stipulated round shall be extended to as many holes as required for a match to be won.

May 29: Morning – 16 Matches for Senior Division & 8 Matches for Super Senior Division
May 29: Afternoon – 8 Matches for Senior Division

May 30: Morning – 4 Matches for each Division
May 30: Afternoon – 2 Semifinal Matches for each Division

May 31: Morning – Final Match for each Division

The following players will be able to register for the tournament starting two weeks before the standard registration open date of Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM based on the criteria listed below.

After Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM, these players will no longer have a reserved spot in the field. Players on the Exempt Registration List pay the full entry fee and all entry requirements still apply.
