You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes before your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

PRACTICE ROUND:  Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 434-2040.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Girls’ Championship contestants.  

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4-3, for which the penalty is the GENERAL PENALTY for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the round.

GAM DRESS CODE:  Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars.  Neither tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits nor denim pants/shorts are permitted.  Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.

FOOD:  As part of your entry fee, there will be a lunch provided on Saturday of the tournament. Washtenaw GC has food & beverages available in the pro shop and grill room.

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players are required to walk. Contestants must carry their own bag, caddies are not permitted.  Push carts may be used.  Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days before the competition.

PRACTICE RANGE:  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, before play only. The driving range will open one hour before the first tee time. It is a limited driving range so the max distance you can hit is 200 yards.

PLAYOFF:  A playoff for the Championship in any Division will take place immediately after the final scores have been posted. It is the player's responsibility to be ready to play when called to the tee. 

WITHDRAWAL: Before the entry deadline, you may withdraw via the Golf Genius Portal for this tournament. After the entry deadline, please e-mail tournaments@gam.org notice of your WD. Failure to notify the GAM of your WD may result in suspension from future GAM Tournaments. Please review the GAM Withdrawal/Refund Policy.
