Format - 6/6/6

 ●        Two-person teams, Match Play.

●        18 hole match: Holes 1-6: two-person scramble, holes 7-12: best ball, holes 13-18: select drive alternate shot.

●        3 points available per two-person match - 1 point for the first 6 holes, 1 point for the second 6 holes, and 1 point for the last 6 holes. Ties for the 6 hole matches are awarded a half point per team.

●        Tie in Ryder Cup points will be broken in a sudden death playoff between captains starting on #1 playing select drive alternate shot.

 

 

Tees: White, Gold. or Red Tees

 

Cost: $35 per person (charged to your Hunt Valley account)

 

Handicaps: Determined by your handicap index in the USGA GHIN System and the tees you elect to play.

 

Food and Beverage: 

●        Breakfast sandwiches (8AM) pre-round.

●        Lunch served (1PM) on Paddock grill items post-round.

 

Closest To The Pin: #4 and #10

 

 Rules: All USGA rules apply and here are some reminders:

• Lift, clean, and place everywhere for holes 1-6 (scramble).
• Play the ball down for holes 7-12 (best ball) and 13-18 (select drive alternate shot).
• Out of bounds is a stroke and distance penalty.
• There is a drop zone on #5 for tee shots hit into the left hazard. (1 stroke penalty)
• On #8, the graveyard (within the split rail fence) is considered an environmental area. You are entitled to a free drop. (Drop zone will be indicated by a white circle.)
• Tree stumps and leftover tree stump debris are ground under repair.
• Range finders allowed with slope turned OFF!
• This is match play, so putts can be conceded by the other team.
