REGISTRATION: Check in is available no more than 1 hour prior to your tee time. You are required to check in prior to your starting time.

 

WAITLIST: This event is currently full. You are still welcome to register and you will not be charged unless you do get into the event.

 

PRACTICE AREAS: The practice facilities will be available before your tee time. Selling/price of range balls is at the course's discretion. You must check in before using the practice facilities.

 

CADDIES: Players are allowed a caddie. All players must walk, carry their own bag or have it carried by a caddie or use a pull cart (spectators are allowed and encouraged).

 

RANGEFINDERS: The use of Distance Measuring Devices is permitted. (Rule 4.3)

 

GOLF BALLS: Only brands of golf balls on the most current USGA List of Conforming Golf Balls may be used. 

 

STARTING TIMES: This event will have tee times starting at 7:30am day 1, 7:30am day 2. Starting times can be obtained by going to the PAIRINGS tab on top of this page. For day 2, order of age divisions will stay the same but tee times within each division is determined from how players finished on day 1 with the lowest scores starting latest in each division. 

 

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is prohibited during the round. Players shall walk at all times during the stipulated round unless otherwise specified by the Committee. Pull/push carts are permitted.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Food and Beverage operations will be at the discretion of the host facility. Be prepared for "cash only" or "card only" payments. 

 

AWARDS: An awards presentation will take place on day 2 at Meadowlark Hills GC upon completion of play for each division. The top three finishers in each age division will receive recognition.

 

SEASON POINTS: This event is worth 1.5x the points of regular tour events. 

 

HOSTS: Professionals—Turner Ham, PGA (KCC) & Dave James, PGA (Meadowlark Hills) 

 

SCORING: Individual Stroke Play scored within each age division

 

INCLEMENT WEATHER: If every player within a division does not complete all 9 holes in round 1 or 2, scores will revert to the first 6 holes played, then the first 3 if not everyone completed 6 holes. If less than 3 holes are completed, the round does not count. Players will get a full refund if less than 9 holes are completed over the 2 days.      

 

 

NOTAH BEGAY III QUALIFYING EVENT
 

As an extra benefit, this event will provide an opportunity to earn an exemption into the Notah Begay III (NB3) Kansas Regional tournament, played at Firekeeper Golf Club on June 26th â€“ 27th in Mayetta, KS. Only players registered for this event are eligible to have their scores count toward the qualifier. 

 

There is no additional fee to have your score count towards earning exemption for the Kansas Regional. Any player that earns exemption will be contacted by the NB3 staff to register for the Regional Tournament, and may choose to do so (or not) at that time. Please note that NB3 has their own eligibility policies and are solely responsible for handling the official invitations to their regional event. See the information below for number of spots available and special age divisions and policies for the NB3 Qualifier. 

 

  • Girls 12-13 --> 6 spots
  • Boys 10-11 --> 6 spots
  • Girls 10-11 --> 6 spots       
  • NOTE: Boys 12-13 --> 6 spots (This is only for the 18-hole Boys 12-13 division, NOT 9-hole Boys 12-13 Int. division. Players in this age range must register for the 18-hole Boys 12-13 division if they wish to attempt to gain exemption to the NB3 Kansas regional event.
