INFORMATION

 

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

 

QUALIFIER DATE: Tuesday, August 20

LODGING: Holiday Inn – 21500 West Road, Woodhaven (734) 362-0933.

 

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 676-1944.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Qualifier contestants. Rates and availability will be at the discretion of the host facility.

 

FOOD:  The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

 

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Pushcarts are allowed. Caddies must also walk. Carts are not permitted for caddies. Spectator carts are not allowed at USGA Qualifiers.

 

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only. Because West Shore G&CC does not have a full range, the practice range at nearby Grosse Ile G&CC will host players prior to their round.

 

PLAYOFF:  In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions. It is the responsibility of the player to be present and ready to play when called for a playoff.

 

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament. If you must withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM at tournaments@gam.org. In the e-mail, please state your name, the event you are withdrawing from, and your reason for withdrawing. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
