Two Man Match Play

- Included: Guaranteed 2 rounds of golf, with cart and warm up balls & lunch following round one
- TEAM REQUIREMENTS
- Both players must have a valid Golf Canada index
- Golf professional welcome to play as long as they have a valid and current Golf Canada index
- HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS
- Maximum index of 15.0 per player
- All players (including plus handicaps) will be at 90%, frozen at the start of each match play round.
- Round 1 - 2 - handicaps frozen - April 26
- Round 3 - handicaps frozen May 1
- Round 4 - handicaps frozen June 1
- Round 5 - handicaps frozen July 1
- Round 6 - handicaps frozen August 1

- MATCH PLAY RULES
- Rounds 1 & 2 will take place on Sunday, April 28 on the Quail Course. Round 1 will be an 8:00am Shotgun Start, followed by Lunch then you will receive your round 2 pairings for a 2:00pm shotgun Start.
- Round 3 – played in the month of May
- Round 4 – played in the month of June
- Round 5 – played in the month of July
- Finales – played in the month of August
- Teams eliminated in Round 1 will play in a consolation bracket
- Format will be Net Best Ball using 90% handicaps
- All play will be from the Black Tees and can be completed on the Bear or The Quail course
- The first team listed will be given “Home Course Advantage” and can decide between Bear Course & Quail Course for rounds 3-6
- Seeding will be made at random
- Female golfers may enter, but will be required to play the Black Tees
- All square matches will be decided by sudden death playoff hole starting on hole #1. Stroke holes will be used during playoff holes if applicable. If a playoff is needed please check in with the Golf Shop before proceeding to hole #1. For playoffs in rounds 1 and 2 you will be play the hole following your final hole of the shotgun start.
- Teams unable to schedule their match will be both eliminated unless the committee (Lee Ranger & James Grassie) decide that only one team is at fault for failure to schedule.
- The final match for Overall 1st Place in the Championship Bracket will be a 36 hole match with one round played on each golf course
- PRIZES
- $10,000 in prizes based on a full field
- Top 8 teams in the Championship Bracket
- Top 2 teams in the Consolation Bracket
