Dear Junior Golf Parent,
Thank you for your interest in our Junior Golf Summer Program here at Hollytree Country Club. I believe we have a great experience in store for your junior this Summer!
First and foremost, I want you to know that your child’s safety and security are the top priority of our staff. Every precaution will be taken and all of the instructors and golf camp staff will do whatever is necessary to ensure a safe atmosphere for your junior golfer. We will promote safety, fun, and golf – in that order.
Each camp, the junior golfers will be divided into groups. Each group will have a lead instructor and assistants. The groups will rotate each day from station to station, which will consist of full swing, short game, and putting. Throughout the week, the juniors will learn the fundamentals of golf and will establish a foundation that they can continue building upon as they grow older. Below is a general daily schedule of events:
Monday - Thursday
8:45 - 9:00 Check In
9:00 - 11:00 Golf Activities
11:00 - 11:10 Awards and Announcements
11:15 - 12:00 Swimming
12:00 Pick Up (At Swimming Pool)
Juniors should bring swimsuits, sunscreen, etc. with them each morning. Juniors may bring snacks and a water bottle, but please make sure that all items are labeled with his/her name since we will be moving to different locations throughout the day.
Please note that Hollytree’s dress code requires a collared shirt, hemmed shorts/skirts, and either golf or tennis shoes. No denim is allowed.
Note: Hollytree Country Club pool is closed on Monday after the Junior Camp swim.
