ABCD PLAYING RULES - Scoring format 1, 2, 3 Best Ball Scoring

Each team will consist of four golfers (A, B, C, & D)

Each golfer plays their own ball throughout the round, recording their individual scores on each hole. This tournament does count toward SLBB. 

The golfers in the team will play from different tee boxes. A = Bronze, B = Bronze/Gold combo, C = Gold, D = Black tees.

Team score is based on the hole. Holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13 and 16 will be the lowest net score. Holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, and 17 will be the 2 lowest net scores, and the remaining holes are the 3 lowest net scores.

All players will receive 85% of their playing index.

We will have Team Net Skins based on each holes score and Individual player Gross Skins, for those that sign up.

 

 

In case of no-shows, the missing player’s shot is taken by the next higher handicapped team member (as well as his own): i.e. if the “C” player is missing, the “D” player hits twice each time. If the “D” player is missing, then “C” hit twice only on the even holes and no make-up shots on odd holes.

 

The objective of the tournament is for each team to achieve the lowest cumulative net score based on the individual performances of the team members. It's an interesting format that combines individual play with team scoring, providing a unique challenge and opportunity to golf with guys you might not normally be paired with.  There will be team skins and individual CTPs.
