QUALIFIES FOR SEASON LONG BEST BALL (SLBB)
ENTRY DUE: Sept 26, 2024
FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play with SLBB. Golfers will be placed in flights based on handicaps and the number of entries. Some holes will be Heaven Holes (easy pins), some Hell Holes (hard pins).
ESTIMATED TEE TIMES, based on 96 golfers:
A Flight 1:00 to 2:00, B Flight 10:00 to 11:00, C Flight 11:00 to 12:00, D Flight, 12:00 to 1:00.
The start times may vary slightly based on the roster size which determines the number of players in each flight.
Please do not sign up if these times don’t work for you, so we can avoid refunds, and extra work.
HANDICAPS: Each golfer will receive 100% of his course handicap.
The flight you will be in is determined by your index.
One of the main features of the Golf Genius App available on your smart phone is live scoring. This year, the Club will require the use of digital scorecards thru Golf Genius. So, please download the GG app on your mobile device so you can use digital scorecards and follow leaderboards during the tournament. To download the APP, go to the “Home” page at wellshire.com and select "Get the Free Mobile APP".
Pro Tips:
- Do not log into the App with username and password, ALWAYS use the GGID that you receive via Text.

QR Code System for Pace of Play Timing - This season the Club will be using a QR code checkpoint timing system. There will be up to five QR codes on the course that must be scanned by one person in each group (does not have to be the same person each time). We're still working to perfect this, hopefully we'll have it working by this tournament. Penalty assessments for slow play have changed this year.
