Tournament Format

 

The field has been divided into 10 flights with six two-man teams in each flight. Each team plays five nine-hole matches, one against each opponent within their respective flight to determine a flight winner:

• Each match represents ten (10) possible points.
• One point for winning a hole, ½ point for tying a hole, and 0 points for losing a hole.
• The winner of the match will earn 1 additional point and if the match ends in a tie, both teams will earn an additional ½ point.
• All play will be from the BLACK tee markers.
•  The format for each match is a net best ball of the two-man team at 90% handicap.
  • Each match will play off the low handicap in the match. The maximum handicap for a player is 36.
  • Half Shots will be issued in the case of odd-numbered handicap allocation.
• Assignments to flights were made on the basis of the total combined indexes. If two teams have the same combined index, the team with the lower handicap player is the higher seed. 
  • In the case of a no-show, or injury, the other team will play a match against par.
• The team with the most points wins the flight and qualifies for the “Shoot-Out.”
• Match play rules apply throughout the tournament.
• Please turn your scorecard in at the scoreboard as soon as you complete your round.
