Event Format: 36 Holes Strokeplay
Field Size: 120 Total. 80 players from the 2024/25 National Pro-Am Tournament Exemption Categories & 40 Amateurs as ranked by Golf NSW. The Professional field won’t be extended beyond 80, even if amateur positions are not filled. Amateur entries via Golf NSW. Professional entries via the PGA entries platform.
Entry Fee: Amateur Competitor $100. PGA Members will enter online via the www.pga.org.au website.
GA Handicap Limit: 4.4
Amateur Ballot: In the event of entry applications exceeding the number of places available in the Regional Qualifier (40), the method of balloting players out of the field will be determined by GA handicap order at the close of entries. Unsuccessful applicants will be informed without delay and given the opportunity to compete if withdrawals subsequently occur. Monies received from balloted entrants, who do not subsequently compete, will be refunded in their entirety.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Monday, September 16: Practice Rounds from 1pm
Tuesday, September 17: Round 1 – Random Draw
Wednesday, September 18: Round 2 – Seeded Draw
PLAYER REGISTRATION
Competitors will be required to do the following before teeing off:
Before Round 1: Register into the tournament via the PGA Tour Australia app before midday on Monday, September 16, 2024.
At the Tee each day: At the Tee each Round, select who's score they will be marking on the digital scorecard via the PGA Tour Australia App. This is to be done with the starter when all players for the group are present.
QUALIFYING INFORMATION
The leading 3 eligible players (excluding those who hold a current PGA Tour of Australasia Exemption Category of 11 or higher) who finish in the top 15 and ties shall qualify for the NSW Open. Should ties exist; a count back system will be used to separate ties.
TOURNAMENT PRO AM
There is no Pro Am for this tournament.
PLAY OFF
In the event of a tie for first place, a 'hole-by-hole' play-off will be conducted to determine the title holder and prize money. If a play-off involves more than two players, those other than the winner will be deemed to have tied for second place regardless of their scores in the play-off. The play-off will be conducted over holes determined by the Tournament Committee. The play-off will be conducted in accordance with the Policy for selecting the Order of Play in Play-Offs. Should a play-off not be possible, the tournament committee may declare joint winners.
LIVE SCORING
All Players are required to do Live Scoring via the PGA Tour Australasia App.
YARDAGE BOOKS
Yardage Books will not be available for this event. Players may use Distance Measuring Devices for distance measuring only.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice Rounds are available from 1pm on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Short game area is 90m and under.

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
Soft Spikes: It is compulsory for soft spikes to be worn.
Caddies: Functions are players only.
HIRE EQUIPMENT
Pull Buggies: LIMITED PULL BUGGIES AVAILABLE*. Players are requested to bring their own.
DRESS REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with minimum standard of dress during a tournament as per the PGA Membership Regulation. i.e. neat casual/golf attire, no denim.
