Introducing Melbourne's Mini Golf Champs at Shanx Melbourne Cable Park
World Series of Poker meets Mini Golf….
It’s a night of entertainment, fun and pressure-putting for all ages and abilities.
One player per group is required to use the Golf Genius Scoring app and online scoring and leaderboards will ensure the competition is on between you and your friends.
One adult can play with up to 2 kids & there are plenty of prizes on the night including top-scoring individual, and junior under 16 divisions.
Overview of the evening
- 3:30pm Registration opens with free practice for all registered competitors until 4pm.
- 4pm Qualifying rounds commence. Players can buy back in before 6pm for $5 if tee times are available.
- 6pm Final Qualifying last group can tee off.
- 7pm Championship commences with 54 players playing 18 holes to determine the top 8 Players.
- 8pm Top 8 players will be required for the sudden death knockout rounds.
- 8:30pm Presentation of winners & prizes.
Qualifying:
- 18 holes stroke play with the option to buy back in for $5 before 6pm.
- Approx. 20 players will qualify for the championship proper.
Championship:
- 54 Players (including approx. 20 Qualifiers) play18 holes stroke play.
- The top 8 players from the stroke play will qualify for Melbourne's Mini Golf Champs.
- Ties will be decided by a hole-by-hole count back - if still tied NTP playoff.
Matchplay breakdown:
- 8 players: 1-hole matchplay knock out.
- 4 players: 1-hole matchplay knock out.
- 2 players: 1-hole matchplay knock out to decide the Melbourne's Mini Golf Champs winner.
