Welcome to the "2024 Sun City Pro-Am " Event Portal

Welcome to this exciting tournament, where one Senior Professional plays alongside an Amateur partner in a Better Ball Stableford event.

The final entry list consists of 30 Senior Professionals & 30 Amateurs. Participants will be playing at the Rustenberg Golf Club due to non-availability of the Lost City course. 

 

Format & Conditions of Entry

The Sun International Senior Pro-Am, hosted by the Rustenburg Golf Club, and sponsors, will be played in accordance with the rules and regulations as set out by the R&A in a 36-hole Strokeplay event for professionals, who are 50 years of age or older on 26 August 2024, (18 holes being played on each of the days of 26^th and 27th August 2024 respectively). A teams’ event will run concurrently in a Better-Ball Stableford competition, over the two days, consisting of one professional and one amateur partner. The teams’ field size will be limited to a maximum of 54 professionals and 54 amateurs, with the professionals playing off separate tees from the amateurs, who will have the choice of the colour tee markers in accordance with Golf RSA handicapping conditions.
