Courtesy Practice Rounds: A practice round may be scheduled by calling the golf shop and identifying yourself as a player in the field. Cost of a practice round will be a cart fee of $26 (Via and Mastercard accepted, NO American Express). Availability is flexible and based on the club's schedule with the following exception: no weekend mornings.

Starting Times:  Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. off the 1st tee.

 

WithdrawalsPlease advise the Mass Golf office immediately at (774) 430-9016 if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. If there is a need to call the Mass Golf office after the close of business on Tuesday, September 11, please call Laura Nochta at (513) 800-7948 [leave a message] or via email at lnochta@massgolf.org.

 

Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 6 qualifying spots, 2 alternates

 

Distance Devices:  The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation is permitted. There is a limit to 2 carts per group. Players should check in with the golf shop on the day of the qualifier to purchase their cart if they wish to use one: cart fee will be $26 (players will be required to pay for them in the golf shop the day of the qualifier - Visa or Mastercard is accepted, NO American Express). Pull/push carts will also be permitted.

Caddies: Caddies are allowed. Wianno Club has a limited number of caddies available. Players should contact the caddie master at Victor@wiannoclub.com to inquire and reserve a caddie in advance. Players may also provide their own caddie.

 

Golf Ball:  The One-Ball Rule will be in effect.  See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.

 

Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played from the white tees (Approx 5600 yard; par 70);

Note: Holes 5, 9, 10, 15, & 16, will be played from the red yardage.

 

Golf Shop and Practice Facilities:  Open and available at 7:00 am. The driving range will be off of mats only.

 

Food & Beverage: The restaurant will be open at normal hours (by 11:30 am) the day of the competition. Players can purchase items of the menu for CASH ONLY.

 

Dress CodePlease observe the USGA dress code as stated in the U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship application.

*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10-15 minutes prior to your starting time.
