It came down to a three-team playoff at the Senior Four-Ball Championship and the Columbus   duo   of Carter Mize and Wright Waddell birdied the first playoff hole (#9) to capture the title. The 2018 edition of the Senior Four-Ball Championship took place at King & Prince Golf  Course while the   Super Senior Four-Ball Championship was played at Sea Palms Golf Resort.

Mize and Waddell trailed by five strokes entering the final round but posted a 7-under-par 65     final round. They made seven birdies during the round including four in a row (No. 11, 12, 13, 14). 

After three days and 54 holes, there was a three-way tie atop the leaderboard at 14-under-par    between Gay McMichael/Phil Hardin, Jacob Davenport/Mike Nance, and Carter Mize/Wright     Waddell.

Waddell made birdie on the first playoff hole to complete the come from behind victory. Mize   and   Waddell have teamed up to win four Georgia Four-Ball Championships (1991, 1995,       2003, 2004)   and both are members of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.

Al Small and Larry Clark entered the final round tied for the lead and successfully defended their   Super Senior Four-Ball title with a final round 7-under-par 64 to finish at 15-under-par overall. After   posting a first round 70, they posted back-to-back rounds of 64 to finish off the championship.

Don Marsh and Ernie Venet finished runner-up, five strokes off the lead at 10-under-par.
