ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Championship consists of 36 holes of stroke play on the day of competition.

 

The competitor with the lowest gross score will receive the Carl Bretherton Cup and be the Warwickshire Boy's Champion for the year.

 

The champion will qualify to represent Warwickshire in the English Boys Champion of Champions event held at Woodhall Spa.

 

 

The competitor with the lowest gross score under the age of 16 on 1st January 2025 will receive the Past Captains Trophy.

 

The Top 8 finishers in this event will qualify for the Boys Matchplay Championship, the 36 hole final being played on 21st August at Olton GC.

 

Age and handicap index limits apply, these can be found in the Terms of Competition.

 

Entry Fee is £30, which includes chips and sandwiches for lunch.

 

 

In the event of a player having to withdraw from this championship after the closing date the entry fee cannot be refunded.

 

Closing date for entries is 20th July 2025.
