Metropolitan Junior Boy’s Championship Information
Method of Play:
36-Hole, Individual Stroke Play
Field will be divided in the following divisions (based on participation):
- Boys 16-18
- Boys 13-15
- Overall
In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden-death playoff to determine a sole winner. Conditions of the playoff will be announced on-site by the GCGA Rules Committee.
Cost:
$100 for Non-Junior Tour Members
$80 for Junior Tour Members
Eligibility:
Eligibility for this event is limited to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
1. Must be a Member of Greater Cincinnati Golf Association by purchasing a USGA Handicap Index for the current year - Register Now or Visit Your Local GCGA Facility
2. Must have created a Player's Account Through the USGA Tournament Management System - Register Now
3. All players must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
4. Non-1905 Junior Tour participants must be between a minimum of an age of 13 by June 17th, 2019, or a maximum of 18 on June 18, 2019. Current Junior Tour members will be eligible to participate if they are permitted to register in the 13-18 age divisions for 2019.
5. Participants must be male.
Note: Participants under the age of 13 may apply to play, but must produce documentation of exceptional playing ability (i.e. letter from PGA Professional, etc.). Requests should be sent to juniorgolf@gcga.org, and are subject to review.
