Welcome to the The Dolan Cup
The Dolan Cup is a team event that was formed through the partnership of the Maryland State Golf Association (MSGA) and Middle Atlantic PGA (MAPGA). Teams will be comprised of eight players representing the MSGA and the Maryland contingent of the MAPGA.
The event is named after Columbia Country Club's Professional Emeritus, Robert (Bob) Dolan Jr., PGA, who has been a fixture in Maryland golf for over 30 years.
The MSGA team will feature 5 male mid-amateurs, 2 male seniors (50+), and 1 female while the MAPGA-Maryland team will feature 5 professionals from the Open division, 2 senior professionals (50+), and 1 female professional. Invitations will consider each respective organizations Player of the Year standings as of October 7, along with additional factors determined by the Committee. The format will be Four-Ball matches in the morning, followed by Singles matches in the afternoon.
Future matches will take place on even years, opposite the Middle Atlantic-GAP Mason-Dixon Matches.
