PLAYER INFORMATION
Communication During the Championship
Communication, Player Information, Local Rules, updates, GGID codes for each round and draws will all be sent via SMS during the Championship.
Registration
Registration must be done on each day prior to commencing play. Please ensure you arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to the tee time to register and allow yourself to get to your allocated tee – Registration will be in the Clubhouse and will open from 10:00am (Saturday) & 6:00am (Sunday).
Starting
As the event is a shotgun start, please allow yourself sufficient time to get to your nominated hole.
Please note that play commences for each round - Saturday – 12:00pm / Sunday - 8:00am

Scorecard return
We will be using scoring app Golf Genius for digital scorecards. Please ensure you have this app downloaded and ready to use on the day. You will receive a SMS with your GGID code for each round. Please use this to login..

On completion of your round, ensure you return to the designated ‘scorecard return area’ in the clubhouse and confirm your online scorecard has been successfully submitted with the Golf NSW Staff.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in the following order based on value:
NSW Country Championship (scratch) – 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place
36 Holes Nett Winner
36 Holes Nett Runner Up
Round 1 – Scratch Winner
Round 2 – Scratch Winner
Please note: Competitors may win only one prize.
Inter-District Teams Event – Medals will be awarded to the 6 players in the winning District Team.

Pace of play
Please note that pace of play will be monitored throughout the Championship.
Practice Facilities
Putting green
Simulator up and running in the shop here - 5 mins warmups for $5 (booking essential with proshop).
No Warm up nets.
Pull Buggies
Please note that there are aboutr 15 pull buggies. You would be advised to bring your own.
Food and Beverage
Saturday lunch options - Variety fresh sandwiches, wraps, pies & sausage rolls available through the bar. (available for purchase)
Sunday - Breakfast - Bacon & Egg Rolls for $10.00 or Bacon & Egg Roll + Barista Coffee for $12.00. (available for purchase)
Championship Dinner
Can you please confirm at Registration on Saturday if you will be attending the Championship Dinner - which will be held Saturday Night @ Cowra GC. If you can arrive by 7:00pm….
Dinner will commence at 7:15pm-7:30pm after a few welcome speeches from special guests.
Withdrawal
If you are unable to participate, please notify us immediately. On presentation of a medical certificate a full refund will be issued, less an administration fee.
Caddies
You are allowed to have a caddy for the duration of the event.
Dress Regulations
All entrants must comply with the Golf NSW Standard Dress Regulations.
Motorised Carts
As per the conditions of entry, participants must walk at all times during a stipulated round unless permission has been granted by the Match & Rules Committee by providing a medical certificate. Applications for permission MUST be made at the time of entry. Golf NSW takes no responsibility for the availability of golf carts.
Player Responsibilities
All players must adhere to commonly accepted standards of golfing etiquette and sportsmanship. Care of the course is an important aspect of etiquette and particular attention should be paid to the following:
- Repair divots, carry and use a sand bucket
Conditions for State Events and Code of Conduct
The Golf NSW Standard Conditions for State Events and Code of Conduct will apply in accordance with the Championship Entry Conditions. A copy of the Standard Conditions and Code of Conduct is available from the Golf NSW website at www.golfnsw.org.au.
Presentation
Presentations of all prizes will be conducted at the completion of play on Sunday. If you are able to remain for this, please do so.
