Relief (penalty) from boundary fence ( 1^st, 2^ND & 17^th) - Rule 19.1 Unplayable ball relief.
If a player is unable to drop within two club-lengths not closer to the hole, the closer of the two drop zones may be used or take stroke and distance.

Relief (free) from path on the 2^nd hole - Rule 16.1 Abnormal course condition relief.
In addition to relief provided by Rule 16.1, the player has the option of dropping in the closer of the two drop zones.

Relief (free) from GUR on the 16^th hole - Rule 16.1 Abnormal course condition relief.
In addition to relief provided by Rule 16.1 for the area of GUR marked close to the new fence, the player has the option of dropping in the drop zone adjacent to the GUR.

 

 

Other Abnormal Course Conditions (GUR) Rule 16.1/2/3

Areas in bunkers where sand has been removed by running water resulting in deep furrows through the sand. 16.1c

French drainage scarring 80m from 3^rd green and 60m from 4^th green. Rule 16.1

Tree roots and embedded rocks in closely mown parts of the general area. Free relief permitted for interference to ball but NO relief for interference to stance.

Tree stumps are an integral part of the course unless bounded by a white line where they are to be treated as GUR.

Free relief from bees nest in base of beech tree on rhs of 3^rd to the right of the grass bunker. 16.2b

The following paths are NOT immovable obstructions are they are deemed not to be artificially covered. Path on rhs of 5^th, path at rhs of 15^th at 150m from green.

There are no clippings/grass/leaves/branches piled for removal on the course.
