36 hole Stroke Play Event for Boys and Girls
Full details of the trip, are below, please read them carefully
Friday 12th September
Sadly we do not have our mini buses to pick the players up to take tot he terminal so all players must make there own way to the Ferry Terminal at Kennacraig, where we will meet at 12.00pm.
Please be aware no electric trolleys will be taking on the Ferry, please use a carry bag, you will be giving a trolley at the course if you require it.
We have purchased the Ferry tickets for the players in advance.
When on the ferry, there will be a short meeting with all the players to go over some house rules.
When we arrive on the Isle of Islay, the Hotel will arrange to pick us up by minibus and take us to the venue.
At the venue the players will be able to gain access to the course and practice facilities and do as they wish.
In the evening a welcoming dinner ( informal) will be held in the cinema room for all players and officials, where the draw for the 1st round will take place.
Saturday 13th September
At 9.30am all players will take part in a fun challenge with local junior members and local school kids, this will comprise of a 6-hole event and putting competition.
At 12.30pm the 1st Round will commence
In the evening, there will be a group meal and then we will head for the cinema room for footage of the first day, courtesy of We Film Golf ( Craif Martin) who will be with us for the weekend.
Sunday 14th September
First tee time is 8.30am with the leaders teeing off last. You will have to vacate your room before you tee off.
Prize giving will commence as soon as the last match has completed.
Minibuses will then take us back to the terminal for the 3.30pm Ferry, back to the mainland for 5.35pm. Would recommend that all parents/adults collecting their child is there for 5.30pm
