Handicap allowance is 60% of the lower handicap and 40% of the higher combined.

Jubilee Trophies were presented in 1970 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Association by Miss Wilkinson of Gosforth GC - County Vice Captain 1937-1938 & 1949-1960, County Captain 1953-1955, County President 1969-1971, Representative for the County at the LGU & first County Handicap Adviser.
