Handicap Guidelines and Ballot

 

The Harvey Norman A.C.T Junior Championships is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and Golf Australia Junior Order of Merit (GA OOM) event. The tournament will take place at Murrumbidgee Country Club and is limited to just 112 of the best juniors from right around the world. 

 

 

Handicap Guidelines

 

• Any player who meets the Automatic Entry Handicap Index Limit at the time of registration will be automatically added into the field.
• Any player who does not meet the Automatic Entry Handicap Index Limit at the time of registration will remain on the pending registration list until the close of entries.
• Should spots still be available in the tournament following the close of entries, those players who were on the pending registration list may be offered a position into the tournament.
• These additional positions (if any) will be offered in handicap order at the close of entries on Monday December 23. 

 

• The field will be declared full as soon as 112 players who meet the Automatic Entry Handicap Limit below have registered.

 

 

 

Boys Division

 

Handicap Index Limit for Boys entering the Harvey Norman A.C.T Junior Championships.

Automatic Entry: 6.0

Pending Registration List: 6.1 and higher

 

 

Girls Division

 

Handicap Index Limit for Girls entering the Harvey Norman A.C.T Junior Championships

Automatic Entry: 12.0

Pending Registration List: 12.1 and higher

 

Handicap Ballot

 

Any player who is balloted out of the Harvey Norman A.C.T Junior Championships at close of entries on Monday December 23 will receive priority entry into the Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf, held between January 13th and January 17th.
