Handicap Guidelines

 

The NSW Junior Championships and JNJG State Age Championships (both Boys and Girls Divisions) are open events and any player aged 12-17 Years who meets the Handicap Guidelines is eligible to register.

 

All Boys and Girls Under 12 years of age must register for the JNJG Under 12 Tour State Age Championship, to be played at Lynwood Country Club from July 8 - July 10.

 

 

Boys Division

 

GA Handicap Index Limit for Boys entering the NSW Junior Championships:

 

17 Years: Handicap limit of 9
16 Years: Handicap limit of 12
15 Years: Handicap limit of 15
14 Years: Handicap limit of 18
13 Years: Handicap limit of 21

12 Years: Handicap limit of 24

 

Girls Division

 

GA Handicap Index Limit for Girls entering the NSW Junior Championships:

 

17 Years: Handicap limit of 10
16 Years: Handicap limit of 14
15 Years: Handicap limit of 18
14 Years: Handicap limit of 22
13 Years: Handicap limit of 26

12 Years: Handicap limit of 30

 

 

Juniors who don't meet the age / handicap guidelines can apply for a special exemption by emailing JNJG Tournament Manager - Daniel Smyth. Special exemptions may be granted at the close of entries, should positions still be available.
