2025 Jack Newton International Junior Classic

Tournament Format

 

The Jack Newton International Junior Classic is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and Golf Australia Junior Order of Merit (GA OOM) event. 

 

The tournament will be played over 72 Holes in four days from Tuesday 30th September - Friday 3rd October 2025. There will be no cut, with all players playing on all four days.

 

Monday 29th September is the Official Practice Day, Compulsory Tournament Registration, Long Drive Competition, and Tournament Opening Ceremony that will all take place at Cypress Lakes Golf and Country Club.

 

 

Monday 29th September

  • Official Practice Day
  • COMPULSORY Tournament Registration (9:00am > 5:00pm)
  • Long Drive Competition (10:00am > 5:00pm)
  • Opening Ceremony (5:30pm > 6:00pm)

 

Tuesday 30th October

  • Round 1 - Jack Newton International Junior Classic
  • Tee Times from 6:15am > 8:15am and 11:00am > 1:00pm

 

Wednesday 1st October

  • Round 2 - Jack Newton International Junior Classic
  • Tee Times from 6:15am > 8:15am and 11:00am > 1:00pm

 

Thursday 2nd October

  • Round 3 - Jack Newton International Junior Classic
  • Seeded Draw
  • Tee Times from 6:15am > 8:15am and 11:00am > 1:00pm

 

Friday 3rd October

  • Round 4 - Jack Newton International Junior Classic
  • Seeded Draw
  • Tee Times from 6:15am > 8:15am and 11:00am > 1:00pm
  • Tournament Presentation (6:00pm > 7:00pm)

 

 

Tournament Conditions

  • In the event of a tie for first place at the completion of 72 Holes in any Scratch Division, a sudden death playoff will take place (daylight permitting - if the playoff cannot be completed, joint winners will be declared).
  • All other ties (Runner Up, 3rd Place, or any Nett Divisions) will be decided via a countback.

 

 

The Championship Committee will comprise the JNJG General Manager, Head Tournament Rules Official, or their appointees. In the absence of a full Championship Committee, such members that may be present at the time may give a decision, and any decision so given will be deemed to be a decision of the full Championship Committee.
