Birdies & Bogeys 2025

Greenwood is excited to be hosting our 2nd annual charity golf tournament, Birdies and Bogeys! This event will take place at Lake Valley Golf Club on Monday, June 23rd. It will be a great day on the links with fellow wildlife enthusiasts as you play for fabulous donated prizes. The festivities will include a foursome championship winner, a raffle, and several contests along the way including the chance to win $10,000 at the Hole in One Contest .

The tournament will be played as a "scramble," where each foursome plays off the best shot of each stroke within the group for one final score.

              Schedule: 

• 7:30 AM – Check-in at the clubhouse is between 7:30 – 8:00 AM. There will be breakfast burritos, beverages, and a chance to warm up on the driving range/putting area. Please arrive as early as possible to ensure a timely start.
• 8:30 AM - It’s a Shotgun start and all players should be at their hole ready to play by then. A standard round of golf is 4 – 4 ½ hours in length (Golf end time: 12:30 – 1 PM).
• 12:30 PM – The luncheon starts right after the end of play in a large tent next to the clubhouse.
• 2:30 PM - The goal is to have everything wrapped up by 2:30 at the latest, but it will most likely conclude before then.

Funds raised will help Greenwood care for the thousands of orphaned, injured, and sick wild animals that come through our doors every year.
