2025 Montana State Junior Championships

--- Overview ---
All players must have advanced through one of five 2025 Montana State Junior Championship Qualifiers or be on the 2025 Exemption List (see Event Information > Exempt Players). Juniors must be Montana Residents, must not have completed a year of college, and must not have turned 19 before June 21, 2025.
Format
13 & Under will compete over 36 holes (June 19 & 20) on the Fairmont Golf Course. Yardage for the 13 & Under Boys will be approximately 5600 yards and played from the red tees. Yardage for the 13 & Under Girls will be approximately 5200 yards on the yellow tees.
The 14-15 & 16-18 year old divisions will play from the same tee as they compete for the overall State Championships. The Boys will play from the blue tees and playing at approximately 6700 yards. The Girls will play from the Red tees at approximately 5700 yards.
The 14-15 & 16-18 year old divisions will compete for 36 holes on the Championship Course. Following 36 holes, there will be a cut for a final 18 holes. The cut will be those in the Top 6 and ties of each division, plus those in the Top 15 & ties of a combined 14-18 leaderboard.
--- Registration ---
Registration will be open to players via INVITATIONS. Players on the 2025 Exemption List will be sent their invite on May 1st. Following each qualifier, invitations will be emailed to players who have qualified for the State Junior Championship. This email will provide a player specific link for registration.
If you are on the Exemption List and did not receive an email, please email Tournament Director, Tim Bakker, at tim@msgagolf.org.
Entry Fee is $30.
Registration must be completed by June 12th at 5pm. If you need help with registration, please contact the MSGA at 1-800-628-3752, ext 1.
Your entry will be confirmed by email. Unless you have an entry confirmation, you are not officially entered in the championship. No entries will be accepted at the host facility. A list of confirmed players will be posted on the Player Information > Players page.
Cancellations will be subject to a $10 service charge. No refunds will be allowed after June 12th.

Practice Round
Juniors Rate for Practice Rounds is $20 for 18 holes. Players may call Fairmont Hot Springs GC, 406-797-3000, 2 weeks in advance to schedule a tee time.
Tee Times
Tee Times will begin at 9:00am. Individual player tee times will be emailed and posted to this portal by June 14th. Please arrive early to check in before your tee time.
Tournament Check-In
The MSGA will be on-site at Fairmont Hot Springs GC for player check-in on June 18th, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You may also check in prior to your Round 1 tee time.

Refund Policy
If you cancel your registration, or if your entry is rejected for not meeting the qualifications, you will be notified by email and a refund will be issued to your credit card, less the $10 service charge.
