EVENT:  LWGA COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS

DAY 1: 36 HOLE QUALIFYING COMPETITION  (GROSS AND NETT TROPHIES AND PRIZES)

DAYS 2 & 3: TOP 16 QUALIFIERS TO PLAY MATCH PLAY TO DECIDE COUNTY CHAMPION

ENTRY FREE TO JUNIORS IN FULL TIME EDUCATION, who were under 18 years of age on 1st January 2025

 

DATE:  Monday 5th May 2025 to Wednesday 7th May 2025

 

VENUE:  Kenwick Park Golf Club

 

ENTRY FEE:  £22. Light lunch is included for all players.  

 

ELIGIBILITY:   Maximum Handicap Index: 20.4

Playing handicaps will apply in accordance with Appendix C of the current Rules of Handicapping.

 

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE:

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS:  36 hole strokeplay qualifier. Top 16 qualifiers -  match play.

 

TEE TIMES:  DAY 1 & 2: 8:30am  and 1:30pm

                      DAY 3: 8:30am and 1:00pm

 

TROPHIES:

Championship Trophy, Runner Up Salver -Match play Knock out.

President's Bowl - Best 36 hole stroke play - nett. (95% playing handicap allowance)

Mary Roberts Trophy - best 36 holes gross for under 30 years on 1st January 2023

Barbara Watson Trophy - Best 36 holes gross.

 

Other prizes are available.

 

ENTRIES Close 9am  25h April 2025

 

Trophies, where possible, will be presented on Day 3 of the Championship meeting.
