Tournament Overview

We are excited for the 2025 Member Guest at Forest Oaks. This year’s event will consist of a limited field (42 teams) competing in 5 9-hole matches!

7:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast Buffet
9:30 AM: Shotgun Start – Final Match
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Buffet
Shootout after all Flight Winners are decided, Award presentation on course at the conclusion of the Shootout

Registration deadline - September 7th
A current USGA Handicap is required.
Flights will be assigned based on the total team handicap index.
Each team will play a 9-hole match against all other teams in their flight (5 matches total).
Tournament Yardages:
- Flights 1–2: ~6600 yds
- Flights 3–5: ~6300 yds
- Flights 6–8: ~6000 yds
*Players may request tee changes by the Thursday before the event. Players must use the same tees for all rounds.*
A maximum 10-stroke handicap differential is allowed between partners.
Scoring Points:
- 1 point for each hole won
- 0.5 point for tied holes
- 1 match point for winning the match (split if tied)
Handicap Stroke Application: All strokes are played off the low handicap in the group.
Late Arrivals: A single player may start the match. If a partner joins late, they may begin at the next tee. A 2-person team can score a maximum of 7 points when playing against a solo player.
Flight Tie Breakers: In case of tie, the winner of the head-to-head match will advance.
Shootout Format:
- Bracketed match play among flight winners
- Top team by points gets a first-round bye
- Play occurs on holes 1, 18, and if needed a chip-off
- Eliminations continue until a champion is determined
