Thursday rounds are open for sign-up the prior Friday at 7:00 am and close Tuesdays at 10:00pm. You can edit your Golfer Profile under Player Information Tab and update your Tee to select your playing tee box. Select 4-dot, Combo or PIF tee box and the correct handicap will be applied to your round. Tee sheets assign partners randomly and are released on Wednesday, in Golf Genius, select Thursday Rosters. Stay afterwards for social get together.
In this league, Thursday play offers 2 formats: Low Net, Low Gross, Low Putts to establish your handicap. The second formats are play days that team up all 4 players, go to Need to Know, Games We Play to review. Please also review under Need to Know, Check-in procedures.
If you do not have a handicap, you are encouraged to play your rounds from the Play It Forward, PIF, tee box. Let Mason know this is your tee box selection or write on the Thursday scorecard. This process offers advanced placement on the fairway and assists with Pace of Play.
If for some reason emails are not seen for registration or tee sheet confirmation, go into this Golf Genius App, select member portal, home, round sign-up. Select 2025 Calendar for all events.
Thursday guidelines: arrive 30 minutes prior to tee time, for Pace of Play max score is double par (pick up your ball), play ball until holed (no exchange to water ball in middle of hole), putt out all balls, assist cart partner in watching balls and split difference to walk to each others ball from golf cart. Watch the clock on the cart monitor and keep pace with players ahead (should be in your view) and do not allow a hole to open up.
If the round is canceled for weather (temp 49 or rain) open tee times will apply if still you still want to play. Show up to play and check in with the Pro Shop. If at any time you are unable to play at the last minute, call, please don't leave your name on the tee sheet; in Golf Genius: member portal, home, round sign-up then select playing to not playing.

We are the 9 holers of Horseshoe Bay
Most men think we get in the way.
We're yelled at, cursed and sent to the back nine.
But we don't care 'cause we have a great time!
We have been called a partying bunch,
And, truth be told, we are good at lunch.
When asked, "why are you so slow?"
It takes time to count all those strokes, don't you know.
Not to mention the number of traps we must rake.
And why do most of the Par 3s need a lake?
We can't always find our balls off the tee.
It's especially difficult when you hit a tree.
Our leader empowers us and she does it well.
She never lets on that we put her through hell.
A computer guru, she has us all online,
Now if only she could get us to show up on time!
