Check-In Procedures

HSB Ladies 9 Hole Golf

 

Quarter pots will no longer be collected. Awards will be given for LG/LN, Pars, Birdies, Chip-ins & Low Putts.

 

On Wednesday before our playday, each sign-up member will receive the pairings for the Thursday golf play day. Pairings are done by the golf app, Golf Genius, and not by any member of the golf board.  

  1. If you need to be added or removed from the play list please text the Tournament Chair, Melissa Wilkins @ 303-330-9659,  by Wednesday 6pm .  

  2. Since scoring is done in Golf Genius, it is important that you play in the group to which you are assigned. 

  3. Please check in at LEAST 30 minutes before your tee time. Please be aware that changes can occur after the pairings are sent out, as a result there may be some changes to your originally assigned group.  

  4. Your group should make every effort to play 9 holes in 2 hours, so watch your time, pick your ball up at double par and keep the group in front of you in sight!   See Guidelines and Standing Rules for further info on pace of play.

 

 

 Procedures for Keeping Score

  1. Use Golf Genius for scoring LG/LN golf rounds. Either enter scores during round or at the end. 

  2. Max number of strokes is Double Par.  Pick up your ball when you reach this number (e.g., 6, 8, 10).  If you have reached double par without holeing the ball put an X in the number of putts.

  3. If you make a par, birdie or have a chip in, CIRCLE that score on your scorecard.  

 

Scoring in Golf Genius during all LG/LN rounds, open Enter Scores. Either enter during the round or at the end.

  1. Circle all Birdies, Pars & Chip-ins

  2. Subtract your handicap (noted in column PH) from your Gross score and place into NET. 

  3. Confirm scorecard total score matches the total in Golf Genius

  4. 2 ladies sign each card, it’s both of your responsibility to verify all these steps

  5. Turn in scorecards to Pro Desk
