EVENT OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Capital City Amateur Tour! The most popular Amateur Tour in the greater Columbus and central Ohio area!
Pinnacle Golf Club will host our All-Ohio Champion Golfer of the Year, Travelers Series Champion & Most Improved Player of the Year INVITATIONAL event. Eligible players are each of the 2025 Champion Golf of the Year flight champions, our North, Central and South Series Champions & players who earned a performance promotion in 2025.
Players will be grouped in a net contest to decide the All-Ohio 2025 Champion Golfer of the Year & separately for the Travelers Series and Most Improved Player of the Year.
ALL OHIO CHAMPION GOLFER OF THE YEAR - SCORING, AWARD and LEADERBOARD FORMAT
Only on the Capital City Amateur Tour will you have a chance to compete for the max award of $1,000 as an amateur player
Qualify: Players who have won their respective season flight champion golfer of the year points race*
Eligibility: Max award is for reward member who competed in the 2025 Tour Championship and overall a min. of 6 tournament rounds during the 2025 season.
Up to 18* players will compete in a single round, 18-hole, low-net (80% handicap) event
3 Divisions (Open, Senior 50+, Super Senior 65+) and 6 flights in each division make-up the 18 flight CGoY
$1,000 top prize will be awarded to:
1) Invitational flight CGOY who as a reward member did not elect to move down a flight during the 2025 season
2) Played in Tour Championship
3) Completed 6 or more rounds in 2025
$500 prize will be awarded to:
1) Invitational flight CGOY who as a non- reward member did not elect to move down a flight during the 2025 season
2) Invitational flight CGOY as a reward or non-reward member, had requested to move down a flight during the 2025 season
<and/or>
3) Invitational flight CGOY as a reward or non-reward member did not compete in the 2025 Tour Championship and/or had 5 or less tournament rounds during the 2025 season
*Points earned from all events beginning April 12 at Westbrook Country Club and ending on Sep 1 at Avalon Lakes Country Club are applied to the season long points race to be crowned 2025 Champion Golfer of the Year in their respective flights.
AWARD
1st - $1,000 or $500 + trophy (guaranteed; depends on eligibility)
NOTE: Winner will be offered role as Captain for Team Scarlet or Grey in the upcoming Ohio Ryder Cup
2nd - $500 (projected) | $250 non-reward member
3rd - $250 (projected) | $125 non-reward member
ALL-OHIO TRAVELER SERIES CHAMPION OF THE YEAR - SCORING, AWARD and LEADERBOARD FORMAT
Qualify: Top finisher in each series (North, Central, South) are invited to this event
Eligibility: Must of registered as a 2025 Tour Reward Member
Format: (3) Players will compete in an 80% net contest
AWARD
1st: $500 (guaranteed) + Belt
2nd: $250 (guaranteed)
3rd: $125 (guaranteed)
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER OF THE YEAR - SCORING, AWARD and LEADERBOARD FORMAT
Qualify: Players who earned a performance promotion in 2025
Eligibility: For max award, a player must have competed in the 2025 Tour Championship and participated in a min. of 4 tournament rounds during the 2025 season
Players will compete in a single round, 18-hole, low-net (80% handicap) event where scores for both All-Ohio GOY and MIPOY will compete simultaneously.
AWARD
6 players will compete vs the field in an 80% net contest awarding:
1st - $500 + trophy (guaranteed) | $250 non-reward member
NOTE: Winner will be offered role as Captain for Team Scarlet or Grey in the upcoming Ohio Ryder Cup
2nd - $250 (projected) | $125 non-reward member
3rd - $125 (projected) | $75 non-reward member
TIEBREAKERS
Tie-breaker for 1st place will be 2-hole aggregate playoff (net). If tie still remains after 2 holes, then sudden death until tie is broken.
Tie-breaker for 2nd and 3rd place will will be scorecard playoff (USGA Last 9,6,3,1)

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE ($135)
Tournament entry fee of $135 includes green fees, cart fees, taxes, access and use of course facility.

Players may self-register by using their Golf Genius account followed by sending entry fee <or> send entry fee and tour director can perform registration for you.

ENTRY DEADLINE
Eligible players must accept invitation no later than Saturday, September 13th at 4 p.m. EST
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancel any time up to close of registration with no penalty.
After registration closes, courses require 'hard' number. If you request cancellation AFTER registration closes, a refund may not be available.
